A challenge for you AND a giveaway!

Over the weekend I put together a challenge for Scrapbook & Cards Today. You can check out all the details of the challenge over at the Scrapbook & Cards Today blog. Only here can you win a prize though for participating. Keep on reading....
I also prepared a project for Scrapbook & Cards Today that will appear on Wednesday, March 31, so be sure to stop by twice this week at least.

Here is my challenge in a nutshell:

Step 1: Pick one of the new Becky Fleck sketches that were published in the spring issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today. To view them all, visit Scrapbook & Cards Today.

Step 2: Visit Colour Lovers and pick one of their colour palettes to be the basis of your layout.

Step 3: Root through your stash and gather up the supplies that you have that fall into the colour palette that you've picked. Start with your cardstock and/or patterned paper and go from there. Remember, black and white are easy to add in since they truly aren't colours and you can always work with shades in your colour palette as well.
Step 4: Create! Be sure to share with me what you've whipped up on this blog entry. Link an image of your layout in the Mr. Linky section below. That way you have a chance to win a pretty cool prize too.

Now, here's what I whipped up based on this Becky Fleck sketch and the "Happy Easter 2008 by candycrack" Colour Lover's colour palette:

Happy Easter 2008 Colour Palette by candycrack

Supplies: Core’dinations cardstock (Jenni Bowlin Core Impressions, Vintage and Core Essentials), Jillibean Soup kraft paper, journaling sprouts, corrugated alpha and cardstock letter stickers, Sizzix dies (border strips, leaves and branch) and Big Shot, Stampin’ Up! border punch, Jenni Bowlin chipboard butterfly, Making Memories sanding block, Basic Grey Precision File Set, ProvoCraft/Cuttlebug die (small butterfly), Queen & Company pearls, Tsukineko ink, Technique Tuesday stamp, 3L layering tape, 3M Quick Dry glue, Font: Mason, other: sewing machine and brown thread.

Here's how you can win!!!

Between now and Friday, April 9th, at 10pm EST you need to link me up to your creation. It must be based on one of Becky Fleck's sketches that are posted over at Scrapbook & Cards Today and it must be based on a colour palette that you found over at Colour Lovers. There's nothing random about how the winner will be picked...I am going to pick the one that I love the most.

You can win:

-one Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock Swatch Book (very handy when matching colours for a project)

-one package of Trifecta (60 sheets of Core'dinations Black Magic, Vintage and Essentials cardstock)

-one package of Jillibean Soup Core Impressions (20 sheets of pre-embossed cardstock that matches up with Jillibean Soup products nicely!)

-AND (as if that wasn't enough) one year's subscription to Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine (four issues...delivered to your home...rather than you having to push and shove your way into your LSS to get your copy)

Simply post a link to your project in the Mr. Linky thingy-ma-jiggy below and you are in to win!

*NOTE* If you would like to have a peek at the projects that have been linked so far, click on "Mister Linky" and the links will appear.
